"My sons, Jack and Hunter, have been taking lessons at Shamrock for many years and we couldn’t be happier. They have participated in many camps and performed with several of the reality rock bands. Zack is their instructor for drums and bass guitar and is fantastic: a talented musician and a terrific teacher. He’s so patient and supportive and makes lessons fun. I highly recommend Shamrock!"

"ShamRock School of Music is the best music school in northern NJ! They specialize in accommodating children with special needs. They love our children! The teachers, staff and owners go above and beyond to teach our kids music skills, the love for music, and how to use their talents to serve the community and individuals in need. They conduct benefits for America Special Kidz, the local food pantry, a music scholarship program and other worthy causes." - Joanne from Woodland Park, 2020
"Our children have been students at Shamrock School of Music for the past few years. They have taken lessons for guitar, drums, saxophone, bass and vocals. All of the instructors (Zack, Roy, Vince, Kristina and Shannon) are outstanding! It amazes me to see how far they have come over the past few years. The instructors are incredibly supportive and positive. They do a wonderful job teaching and sharing their love of music. The workshops, band performances and recitals have all helped my children gain confidence on and off the stage. Jess and Emily, at the front desk, always greet you with a smile and are ready to help with anything you need. The owners, Randy and Laura Shamber, are amazing to work with! They really make you feel part of the Shamrock family. They also believe in giving back to the local community which we love too. We highly recommend Shamrock School of Music! You will receive a top notch music education and so much more!" - Amanda from Haskell, 2019
"I can not say enough wonderful things about Shamrock. My husband and I were both adult students and my son has been taking lessons for several years. The staff is absolutely phenomenal, both professionally and personally. Everyone seems like a family. My son has had top notch instruction. Through Shamrock, my son has had numerous opportunities to perform throughout the year. Laura and Randy Shamber certainly know how to run a successful music school." - Jen from Wayne, 2019
"We first saw Shamrock perform at Wayne Day. My daughter wanted to try out singing lessons, so we signed up for their summer trial program. All of the staff could not be nicer. Everyone was so welcoming. It's amazing what kids learn here, a very positive place! :) Highly recommended."

"My daughter has been a student at Shamrock for over 3 years now. She takes singing lessons and is a part of a great vocal group. She has even had the chance to sing with a rock band. Her teachers have taught her skills and have given her great confidence. She has made some great friends and looks forward to spending time there each week. They are super welcoming and allow all levels to shine." - Sara from Ringwood, 2019
"What a great place to learn and grow as a musician! My son is obsessed with bass guitar. Through one on one lessons with Roy, a solid foundation is being built. The summer Jazz & Rock camps have provided valuable opportunities to collaborate with other teachers and students. My son has learned how to work with others towards a common goal, perseverance, & what it means to give back to the community." - Ellen from Ringwood, 2019
"My daughter has worked with Shannon over the past few months to try and transition from the clarinet to the oboe. She has made wonderful progress. Shannon is a patient, kind, and skilled instructor. The front desk staff has been attentive and understanding. They are always on top of the schedule and are flexible enough to find ways to meet everyone’s needs for any lessons that need to be rescheduled." - Catherine, 2018
"I'm an adult student and it has been a great experience. I just wanted to learn a little guitar from a real instructor instead of just watching youtube videos. If that's all you want, it is a great place. What I didn't expect was to find a community of people who really love learning and making music for all the right reasons. There is no pressure at all, but if you want there are avenues to learn about live performance, which is a great motivator to improve. Everyone is very easy going, but they will take your musical education as seriously as you do while making it fun." - Price from Pequannock, 2017
"My children have been taking piano lessons at Shamrock for years and we couldn't be happier. Nothing like a safe learning environment with kind owners, knowledgeable teachers and motivating recitals throughout the year. We're always amazed at how much they learn each year. Shamrock does so much for our community too which is a bonus, the kids get to see they're a part of something special." - Antonietta from Pompton Plains, 2017
"ShamRock is amazing. The instructors are inspiring and help them get excited about learning. If you have a child interested...Even if they are shy or nervous...These instructors will connect with them and get them inspired." - Heather, 2017
"ShamRock school of music is amazing!!! I've been to two shows for my nephew and the passion shows from the owner to the teachers to the kids!!! You guys are just truly a blessing for all you do for these kids! I've never seen a more caring, inspiring and passionate group of people. You honestly give these kids your heart and soul. You don't just teach music .... you build their self confidence and provide them with the full rock star experience. You all spend the time to acknowledge and praise these kids after their show! They all have amazing skills that you foster. I can't say enough good words about you! I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for keeping the love of music alive and making my nephew feel like a star! Keep on rockin Shamrock!!!" - Melanie, 2016
